We all interact with technology every day, from our phones and computers to smart riders in train stations. We cant escape technology. But could we be misusing it? In Vietnam a thirteen year old boy was arrested after he killed a robbed an 81 year old women for $6.20. The boy confessed that he had done it because he needed money to play an online game. He strangled the women with a piece of rope and then took h er money. He then buried her in a pile of sand in front of his hand. This boy’s story is typical of what many parents are terrified about. His story clearly shows how video game addiction can control users like a robot, making them do things they never imagined they could have done. However, some experts claim that not all video games are harmful and that with a little supervision, video could be a very useful resources. By observing a child`s behavior, parents could tell whether a game is helpful or not. If it appears they are getting more aggressive with their siblings, then parents could stop them from playing these games.
